The Flintstones Sand Sculpture, Fred, Barney, and Dino

Like many, I grew up watching Fred Flintstone, Barney Rubble, Betty, Wilma and Dino. My parents watched “The Jackie Gleason Show” and “The Honeymooners”… kids watched “The Flintstones”. Same characters and storyline. Fred is the working class everyman.

 

Another version: There was a large group from Alabama next to me... drinking vast quantities of beers, so I had loads of empty beer cans to choose from to give Fred and Barney more character.

And of course where would Fred and Barney be without the at least occasional visit and accompaniment of Dino the dinosaur  pet !
